He is remembered on the Victorian Cremation Memorial Springvale and on the Leongatha Memorial

Relationship to Woorayl Shire

Harold lived in Ruby and Leongatha before attending Ivanhoe Grammar School for 7 years and spent two years at The University of Melbourne. His family were involved in the grocery and catering business in Leongatha. Rosie Lincoln, Harold�s sister, was a popular grocer in Leongatha. Harold worked in New Zealand and Sydney before enlisting.

Military History

After enlisting Harold trained as a wireless operator. He was killed when an aircraft engaged on a training flight to Laverton crashed into the sea near Point Cook. There were four airmen on board and no survivors.
