◈ 30/6/1916 He disembarked Marseilles
◈ 19/8/1916 He was appointed an acting sergeant at Etaples
◈ 7/10/1916 He reverted to Corporal
◈ 7/4/1917 He reverted to Private
◈ 13/4/1917 He transferred to the 60th Battalion
◈ 3/8/1917 He went to England on leave
◈ 14/9/1917 He returned from leave

◈ At the time of his death Florence was living in Maryborough
