26/7/15. George Henry Crole, dairy farmer of Dumbalk, gave his consent for his son to join the army. Mrs. Jemima Crole also wrote a consent note.
He was in the Dumbalk rifle club

20/11/15 He embarked Melbourne on HMAT Commonwealth
24/2/16 He transferred to the 8th Battalion in Zeitoun Egypt
11/3/16 He was sick in hospital Serapaum
14/3/16 He has bronchial pneumonia
3/4/16 He joined the Anzac Police Corps in Tel el Kabir

11/1/17 He was in the British Expeditionary Force in the 8th Battalion
