Robert Munro of Brown St Leongatha

22 years 3 months, 5'10", 11 stone, brown eyes and dark brown hair.
He was invalided home on 15/9/1918 suffering tuberculosis and died on 9/3/1921 from it and exhaustion
He was buried in the Leongatha Cemetery Presbyterian section C40.
He was from Leongatha, Victoria
His grave is inscribed
"In loving memory of Evan Thomas late AIF son of Robert and Susan Munro"

29/3/16 He disembarked Marseilles
5/8/16 He joined his battalion in France
9/11/16 He is ill in the field with trench fever and trench feet
11/11/16 He is placed in hospital and was taken to England on 13/11/16
23/2/17 He went to depot
18/7/17 He has cellulitis and is in hospital in Tidmouth.
From then on he is ill and he is eventually evacuated to Australia from Liverpool in September 1918. He died in 1921
